The Approach for Vet360 Dashboard

We set out to design a dashboard that is easy to use, visually clear, and helpful for managing daily tasks at veterinary clinics. The goal was to make sure that doctors, staff, and clinic managers could quickly find the information they need—without feeling overwhelmed.

Steps Taken

  • User-Centric Redesign: We talked to real users to understand what problems they were facing. Based on their feedback, we redesigned the dashboard to be clean, simple, and well-organized. Important data like sales, appointments, and visitors are now front and center—so users can see what’s happening at a glance.

  • Custom Widgets for Every Clinic: Every clinic works a little differently. That’s why we created a dashboard made up of widgets that users can move or customize based on their needs. Whether they want to track sales, services, or doctor visits—each clinic can set it up their own way.

  • Improved Global Search: We also improved the global search bar in the header, so users can now search across patients, doctors, and clinics more easily. Alongside it, we added a “Clinic Selection” dropdown (see image) that lets users filter all dashboard data by a specific clinic—helping multi-branch admins focus on one clinic at a time.


  • Built-in Appointments & Medical Records: We added a quick view of upcoming appointments and draft medical records right into the dashboard. This helps doctors and staff stay organized and save time without switching between multiple screens.

  • Better Visuals for Better Decisions: Instead of plain numbers, we used graphs and charts to make the data easier to understand. Clinics can now see trends in revenue, track how many customers are visiting, and compare stats with last year—all in one place.

There was a 30% increase in user engagement, with staff and doctors spending more time using the platform to manage appointments, sales, and medical records. The customizable widgets and visually clear reports made it easier for clinics to track performance, leading to better decision-making and time savings. As a result, customer satisfaction improved, and more clinics adopted Vet360 as their daily go-to management tool.
